About Us
Old Baldy Council (map) provides scouting programs that cover eastern Los Angeles and western San Bernardino counties. Stretching from the cities of Fontana, Ontario, and Rancho Cucamonga on the east, the council extends west on Interstate 10 and Hwy 60 to Diamond Bar, Walnut, Pomona, and San Dimas. Also included within the council boarders are the communities of Alta Loma, Claremont, Chino, Chino Hills, La Verne, Montclair, and Upland.

Commissioners
Commissioners are district and council leaders who help Scout units succeed. They coach and consult with adult leaders of Cub Scout packs, Boy Scout troops, and Venturing crews. Commissioners help maintain the standards of the Boy Scouts of America. They also oversee the unit charter renewal plan so that each unit reregisters on time with an optimum number of youth and adult members. |
Friends of Scouting
In order to provide these high quality programs, a strong base of financial strength is needed. A solid source of income serves as the foundation for the quality Scouting programs upon which Old Baldy Council builds.
Invest in Scouting
Every Scouter and friend of Scouting is invited to join the Council's Heritage Society. The Heritage Society recognizes those individuals who clearly see the significant benefits of Scouting and who believe deeply enough in the program to invest in its future.

Do you have an old car, truck or boat that you'd like to get rid of? Consider donating it to Scouting and receive a tax deduction! It is as easy as a few mouse clicks.
