Boy Scouts is for boys who have completed the fifth grade and are not yet 18. It is a program of outdoor hiking and camping. Scouts learn leadership skills, to plan their own activities, to care for themselves, and to appreciate and respect the outdoors. |

Exploring is for young men and women who have completed the eigth grade, are at least 14 and are not yet 21. It is a career focused program in one of the 12 national clusters: Fire Service, Business, Skilled Trades, Law & Government, Law Enforcement, Health, Communications, Engineering, Science, Aviation, Arts & Humanities, Social Services. Explorer Posts build their program around five experience areas: career opportunities, life skills, service learning, character education, and leadership experience. |
